Macy’s Backstage “compare at” prices are based on the price for the same or similar items as originally offered at Macy’s or other comparable stores. Some are closeouts or overruns, as well as items specifically made for Macy’s Backstage. Often our “compare at” prices are based on offering prices from a prior season and consequently may not have been in effect during the past 90 days.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return Macy’s Backstage items?

Of course! Things happen. You can return or exchange your purchase to a Macy’s Backstage store within 30 days of the purchase. A receipt must be shown with the item(s) you would like to return for a full refund in the original form of payment. Merchandise must also be un-worn, un-altered and have original tags attached.

We can also look up your receipt using your account number – Learn more about individual return items here. If you don’t have a receipt, we will issue store credit for the lowest selling price within the last 180 days. Your name and address will be required to complete a return for security purpose.

Final Sale Items

Final Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Merchandise is sold as-is and without warranties. Macy’s Backstage is not responsible for defects or repairs. Some merchandise may be irregular or imperfect. Macy’s Backstage is not responsible for quality and repair cost.

Jewelry & Watches

Jewelry & watches must be returned in original packaging with tags attached, to the same store location it was purchased from.

Special Returns

Special return polices apply and are posted for select merchandise categories. Please note: Macy’s Backstage items may only be returned to Macy’s Backstage stores, not Macy’s department stores or macys.com. Macy’s Backstage will also not accept returns from Macy’s department stores or macys.com.

Macy’s Backstage purchases can only be returned to a Macy’s Backstage store.

SHOPPING AT MACY’S BACKSTAGE

Can I use my Macy’s coupons at Backstage?

Sorry, but we don’t accept coupons on Macy’s Backstage merchandise, since we offer savings from 20-80% every day! With prices that low, you don’t even need them.

Can I use my Macy’s Credit Card at Backstage?

Yes! Your Macy’s Credit Card is accepted at all Macy’s Backstage locations.

I don’t have a Macy’s Credit Card, now what?

No worries, you can apply for a Macy’s Credit Card at any Macy’s Backstage location (hooray)!

When approved, you will get to take advantage of the new account discount for purchases at Macy’s Backstage, Macy’s and macys.com the day the account is opened and the next day. Up to $100* over the two days! Learn more about the new account discount.

Can I use my Star Money Rewards at Backstage?

Yes! The Star Rewards program is available at all Macy’s Backstage locations, which means customers can earn points and redeem Star Money. Platinum cardholders receive 5% back in rewards; Gold cardholders receive 3% back in rewards; Silver cardholders receive 2% back in rewards; and Bronze members receive 1% back in rewards!Exclusions & Details

Can I shop online for Macy’s Backstage products?
